The completely new shaped Hydro-Forming tube-set made of butted ProLite 66 including a unique head-tube, top-tube and oversized down-tube, creates a completely individual appearance for an alloy hardtail-frame- close to the appearance of a carbon-frame. Besides these new tubes, the top-end MATTS HFS XC Pro offers a monostay HFS seat-stay, that matches perfectly with the concave sidewalls of T/T and D/T. Technically, the MATTS HFS XC Comp. Unchanged from 2008, this frame weighs just 1.4kg (18") and offers superlative stiffness and durability at a reasonable price.

NEW HFS: While using out top-alloy ProLite 66 in combination with the latest evolution of HydroForming technology, we arrive at the optimized tubes of the third generation- the first time including a HFS head-tube, monostay seat-stay design and concave shaped side-walls of the tube profiles.

EGG SHAPED: Egg-shaped head tube with large diameter at the lower end and thinner cross section in the middle of the tube, improves the steering precision and optimizes chattering safety.

SMOOTH: Smooth welding manufactures sofly scaled weld seams for smoothened, more optically appealing transitions of the welded joins.

PROLITE 66: Aluminium frame form super-light triple butted tubing in top alloy ProLite 66

LOCK OUT: Lock off the suspension for a more responsive frame when climbing.
