Fuji's A6 Quaternary Aluminum is a revolutionary new alloy containing magnesium, silicon, copper and other proprietary elements. A6 has proven to be up to 35% stronger than conventional aluminum. Additionally, this high-strength material is unique in the fact that the heat-effected zone's (weld area) molecular structure returns to its original strength. Thus improving the strength in this critical area by up to 30% over other materials. This allows for thinner-wall tubing in the weld zone and for a substantially lighter frame.
